Orange County Facial Plastic Surgeon Discusses Combining Procedures with Laser Skin Resurfacing.
According to the latest statistics from the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS), the most popular cosmetic surgical procedures performed by facial plastic surgeons are rhinoplasty, facelift, and eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty). Dr. Ali Sepehr, an Orange County facial plastic surgeon, says his practice has similar trends and that many patients are electing to combine a surgical procedure with CO2 laser skin resurfacing, BOTOX® Injections and fillers. Dr. Ali Sepehr, a facial plastic surgeon in Orange County, says the most popular procedures he performs at his practice are rhinoplasty, facelift, and eyelid surgery, an observation mirrored by the most recent study from the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS). The AAFPRS also reports that, in 2010, on average, a facial plastic surgeon performed 153 of these three most popular treatments. “As another example, some patients inquire about excess upper eyelid skin, and lower eyelid bags and wrinkles.
