When there is a long distance between the nose and the Vermilion (red lip) border, people usually need more filler to see any difference, and any amount of filler is more likely to push the lip forward and give the notorious duck lip appearance. After a lip lift, the lips look better at baseline even without filler and, interestingly, they are also more receptive to filler, meaning a small amount of filler helps to restore their suppleness. As a result, the individual looks softer and more delicate with lip filler after a lip lift than before.

Isolated Upper Blepharoplasty: Take a look at the before and 1 year after pictures on this beautiful young woman. As you can see, even an upper eyelid by itself can give a very rested and refreshed appearance. As you can see in these close-up images, the incisions heal very well and leave very little, if any, evidence of any scar. This procedure has softened the patient's look by reducing tension in the eyebrows. By allowing natural brow relaxation, it has even reduced the hollow appearance of the upper eyelids without the need for any kind of fat transfer. This lovely lady felt she looked tired and wanted to get a more rested appearance. We recommended a treatment plan of Lower Eyelid Lift (Blepharoplasty) combined with Laser Skin Resurfacing and Filler to the tear trough hollows. She decided to get Laser Skin Resurfacing to the rest of the face as well. You can see how the eyes appear more open and overall the face is refreshed. The benefit of Filler applied meticulously and conservatively to the tear trough is a uniform contour from the lower eyelid to the cheek whilst avoiding over hollowing out the lower eyelid. The effect of laser was to assist the Lower Blepharoplasty in smoothening the lower eyelid skin as seen in the smiling photo and to remove the effects of sun damage and dark spots and to give the skin of the whole face a smoother, glassy appearance.

Liquid Rhinoplasty - Tweaked version of your own nose in 5 minutes!

This tall gentleman had had a previous mainly functional nasal surgery, however he was left with a saddle nose deformity and alar retraction allowing clear visualization into the nostrils.  The pictures are before and after the first session of liquid rhinoplasty.  We were able to get full correction of the saddle nose deformity.  However, alar retraction requires more than one session of injection to fully correct.  That part of the nose usually develops scar tissue which is too firm and does not rotate down easily.  Furthermore, it is unsafe to inject this area under high pressure.  So a measured stepwise approach is the safe way to ultimately get a satisfying result here.

This patient had a brow lift, upper eyelid surgery and filler to the tear troughs

This lovely lady came to us for treatment options to help rejuvenate her face. Although we discussed surgery as her best course of actions, she ultimately decided she would like to do Daxxify and 1 syringe of Restylane. Looking at each feature, you can see the lines in between the brows, above the brows, and around the eyes have been softened. The brows have been lifted to reduce the hooding and crepiness of the upper eyelids. The eyes appear to have their smile back. Looking at the overall appearance, you can see the tension in her face has been reduced. By relaxing some of the depressor muscles in the lower face, even the platysma bands in the neck have been softened allowing the appearance of tension in the neck to be reduced. The corner of her mouth has been lifted to a more neutral position allowing her pleasant smiling appearance to return. Many lines and wrinkles around the marionette area have been softened. Furthermore, the depression in the cheek under her eyes has been reduced to eliminate the shadow lines there. Using a single syringe helps avoid a puffy appearance. However, to accomplish all of this with just one syringe requires significant expertise and experience for exact, targeted filler placement rather than just filling the whole face with lots of volume throughout. When people read of risks of filler (all true), these risks tend to be higher when large volumes of filler are used. By minimizing the amount needed we also help minimize the risks and usually just get the benefits.

This is a beautiful young patient for whom we did an otoplasty and she came back to us for her rhinoplasty.  This gave us the opportunity to take long term 5 year post ear pinning surgery.  You can see closely the nuances that go into a natural looking ear especially at the 5 year mark even compared to the 6 week post op picture in one of the views.  We look forward to showing you the rhinoplasty results.

These pictures are one year after the THIRD Rhinoplasty on this beautiful young lady (inside and out)! She had trouble breathing in and blowing her nose. The bridge was over reduced and the tip was over projected causing a scooped out or ski slope appearance. Furthermore, the tip was deviated off to one side. You can see in the after photos that all these issues have been corrected. In spite of her thin skin, since she had had two rhinoplasties in the past, there is still some swelling above the tip of her nose. This is an area that will conform to the structure underneath by the two year mark. She is an out of state patient who is already thrilled and relieved that she never has to worry about her nose ever again. Whenever we have the opportunity to take photos of longer term results, we look forward to sharing them.

This lovely patient had rhinoplasty that resulted in nose that looked sharp and pointy. The 3/4 or oblique views gave appeared droopy. Finally there was hanging columella from the front. We were able to address all of these features creating a more natural and beautiful nose for her.

This beautiful woman had a primary rhinoplasty 10 years ago.  Fate would have that she waited to find us and we could not be happier.  Please see the nuances of improvement from the nostrils, of course, to a more normal tip definition, and a smooth contour to the bridge.  She is just at 3 weeks.  Before this surgery she regretted ever touching her nose because her original nose was better.  She said it is now better than her original nose and the result she was looking for in the first place.
