Liquid Rhinoplasty - Tweaked version of your own nose in 5 minutes!

This tall gentleman had had a previous mainly functional nasal surgery, however he was left with a saddle nose deformity and alar retraction allowing clear visualization into the nostrils.  The pictures are before and after the first session of liquid rhinoplasty.  We were able to get full correction of the saddle nose deformity.  However, alar retraction requires more than one session of injection to fully correct.  That part of the nose usually develops scar tissue which is too firm and does not rotate down easily.  Furthermore, it is unsafe to inject this area under high pressure.  So a measured stepwise approach is the safe way to ultimately get a satisfying result here.

This lovely lady came to us for treatment options to help rejuvenate her face. Although we discussed surgery as her best course of actions, she ultimately decided she would like to do Daxxify and 1 syringe of Restylane. Looking at each feature, you can see the lines in between the brows, above the brows, and around the eyes have been softened. The brows have been lifted to reduce the hooding and crepiness of the upper eyelids. The eyes appear to have their smile back. Looking at the overall appearance, you can see the tension in her face has been reduced. By relaxing some of the depressor muscles in the lower face, even the platysma bands in the neck have been softened allowing the appearance of tension in the neck to be reduced. The corner of her mouth has been lifted to a more neutral position allowing her pleasant smiling appearance to return. Many lines and wrinkles around the marionette area have been softened. Furthermore, the depression in the cheek under her eyes has been reduced to eliminate the shadow lines there. Using a single syringe helps avoid a puffy appearance. However, to accomplish all of this with just one syringe requires significant expertise and experience for exact, targeted filler placement rather than just filling the whole face with lots of volume throughout. When people read of risks of filler (all true), these risks tend to be higher when large volumes of filler are used. By minimizing the amount needed we also help minimize the risks and usually just get the benefits.
